Description
Bigger than a Mun Buggy, we wanted to call it a Mun Bus but it only has room for four passengers so it’s more like a mini-bus or a short bus. Heh, heh. Short bus.
A stock rocket called MuniVan U-IVb. Built with 111 of the finest parts, its root part is dockingPort2.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.7.3.

You fly it to the Mun (or Minmus) like a regular rocket. You should have a few hundred m/s of delta-V left in the transfer stage to deorbit the craft. Then discard the transfer stage.
But then you want to select one of the OKTO2s of the descent pods and control from here.
That way, it comes down the way you want. We’ve turned down the throttle on the front pod to keep the center of thrust through the center of mass. If you add stuff, you may need to adjust that a little, but the powerful gyros in the Inline Cockpit should give a lot of control.
After you land, you can stage the pods. They have their own power and probe control so you can fly them away and crash them somewhere. You know, so you don’t leave them sitting around cluttering up your landing zone.
The docking ports are compatible with Raptor9’s Base Modules.
