Description

The Soviet Union’s first lunar sample return mission that arrived on the lunar surface 19 September 1970. The Kerbalized version is a bit misbalanced because of the drill so turn on RCS to keep the craft under control during trans-munar insertion and deorbit.

A mod rocket called Luna 16. Built with 84 of the finest parts, its root part is CandyBox.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.2.2.

This craft is built with the newer Contares and TantaresLV mod packs but with the Old Tantares builds. If you update Tantares from the KSP Forum links to Github, it will break your ships and kill your crews.
