A Soyuz capsule atop a conical fuel tank makes for a light, simple, efficient and Dalek-looking lander.
A mod rocket called Liga 2K-LK. Built with 43 of the finest parts, its root part is Tantares.Crew.A.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.0.4.
Bigger is not better. This craft is half the size of the N1 and a quarter of the cost, yet it has all the delta-V necessary to get two Kerbals to the Mun and back. Remember, you have to lift all that fuel for those hungry engines.
This launcher does look a bit rude, though. Take that, Korolev.
I noticed that on launch when you drop the first stage, the gyros don’t have enough force, there is still enough atmosphere, and the second stage has enough acceleration that it wants to fly pretty straight along the prograde vector at just the time you want to start flattening out your arc.
