Description

This plane flies very well, and i have hours of flight time with this design. With a weight of 6.5T and 3 SAS modules in the middle, this plane re-defines the boundaries of controlled flight. This plane was designed for experienced Kerbal pilots, please read the landing instructions.

Water landing: Water landing speed must be under 80 m/s with a sink rate under 2 m/s; the plane must be level when it touches down on the water. Land with gear up.

Runway landing: Wheel down landing should be between 80 and 100 m/s. The landing gear is very close together, so when you touch down be ready to either TOGA or reverse thrust. (Reverse thrust toggle is action group 1)

Submarine flight instructions: Land, set thrust to full, wait till you are moving at at least 2 or 3 m/s along the water, then aim strait down. When you are ready to take off, fly strait up from a depth of at least 100 meters. Upon breaking the water surface, level off as fast as you can to gain speed. This is a very easy maneuver, and i don’t think i have ever crashed going from water to air.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.1.3.
