Description
Simple and quick launch for experienced pilots designed for low altitude and long distance combat. Uses vernier RCS instead of aerodynamic control surfaces for low horizontal speed manuverability. Angle of engines allows pilots to bank at low speeds and immediately accelerate horizontally without much concentration. Stock missile has guidance capabilities and quiet engines, but can be replaced to a similar mass projectile.
To land: pitch up until engines are perpendicular to ground, then throttle down until thrust-weight ratio reaches below 1.00. Horizontal speed will decrease naturally due to drag, however a slight increase in throttle and more pitch is necessary to slow faster.
A stock aircraft called Attack VTOL. Built with 70 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.0.
