Dubbed the 21st Century Jet, the Boeing B777 was designed as a widebody long-haul aircraft designed as a replacement to aging B747s that most long-range fleets operated. Having been the first airliner fully designed with CAD, as well as Boeing’s first airliner to fully use Fly-By-Wire controls, it represented a quantum leap in airliner technology.

The most popular version, the -300ER, operates today as a mainline long-haul aircraft with airlines all over the globe.

This is without question my most complex replica to date. I put a lot of moving parts and detail on this one, and the result is a replica that even I am a little bit afraid to fly. I REALLY wouldn’t recommend flying this plane unless you’re a big fan of the 777 like I am, or you are interested in starting a house fire. This aircraft comes with working flaps, spoilers, thrust reversers and fully moving flaperons, rudder and elevators.

Keep SAS on 100% of the time when flying this, it’ll keep it stable. Because of the large control surfaces, the rudder and elevator controls are extremely sensitive. Fly it conservatively, push WASD in increments, and don’t keep any of these in full deflection in flight as the tension can undo the joint if strained for too long. You should never be holding it for that long on something this big, anyway.

Reversers are activated with Custom01, and spoilers with Custom02. Allow the reverser to fully deploy before disengaging them, because if you toggle reversers mid-animation it will stay open.

Flaps are not recommended for high-speed flight (obviously), and should only be used at speeds 100 m/s and below. Any higher and the Kraken takes its toll. You will likely never need them anyway in actual flight. You can move them with I/K.
