Description
The Boeing B737 is the ultimate workhorse of Boeing’s commercial airliners and its most successful, popular aircraft, having nearly as much deliveries as its direct competitor, the Airbus A320. Versatile and capable of short to medium routes, it serves domestic and regional networks in many airlines. This represents the -800 variant, the most popular of the 737’s New Generation reiterations.
Performance
Don’t worry about the high part count - A lot of it comes from the flag-based engines with about 200 parts each, which slow down FPS much less than other parts. It performs at around the speed of a 500-part craft.
Nimble, maneuverable and can take hard landings, but relatively short-ranged. Surprisingly one of my best-performing recent airliner replicas. It can be made to fly as slow as 70 m/s and land at 40-50 m/s with controllability. Breaking Ground servos are used for the flaps, deployed with Custom02. There is no reverse thrust action group; Brake using the spoilers, flaps and increase brake strength if necessary.
A stock aircraft called Boeing B737-800. Built with 884 of the finest parts, its root part is fairingSize2.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.10.1.
