Description

The Perch puts the mini in mini-sub. It’s a nuclear-powered one-kerbal submarine. Buoyancy and attitude are both almost perfectly neutral in water. She’s not fast but she’s fun to pilot – top speed is around 11 m/s, but she crawls easily at < 1 m/s too. And she has a shielded docking port on the nose! The main drawback is that she is stupendously expensive, due to the cost of the RTGs powering her.
