Description

The Massive-Kerguson L obsoletes the original Massive-Kerguson space tractor. It has the same power generation capacity as its predecessor, with somewhat less raw pulling power, but this is offset by much better handling. It is capable of manoeuvring the new Surface Tanker 2 under full load in Kerbin gravity or less.

Mission:

• Power generation for ISRU operations
• Moving fully loaded fuel trailers around the base and onto and off cargo aircraft
• Towing aircraft with no steerable landing gear

• Kosmodrome standard docking port at rear
• Klaw at the front
• Full autonomy thanks to a probe core and powerful antenna
• Triple fuel-cell array for power generation: can keep an ISRU unit running at full capacity even when optimised by a senior engineer
• Excellent pulling power and handling

It has been deployed to and serves on the Kosmodrome Aelita on Duna and Kosmodrome Laythe on… Laythe.
