Description
It’s a probe! It’s a plane! It’s a rover!
It’s Geb, named after the Egyptian earth god, and intended to make friends with the friendliest planet of all, Eve. Get Geb to low Kerbin orbit and it’ll fly itself there (as long as you maintain comms, that is). Burn all your fuel, jettison the engine, set your Pe to somewhere around 72…75 km, and it’ll re-enter and glide to the landing spot of your choice.
At that point, it will lay an egg: a tiny little rover carrying a potent science pack. I collected five biomes on my drive from the highlands to the sea!
A stock aircraft called Geb. Built with 40 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2SpacePlaneAdapter.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.1.
