Description

The de Havilland Vampire is a beautiful and significant airplane: one of the first jet-powered fighters to see wide use. This is a tribute to it: not a copy, not a model, but a cuter, Kerbalised rendition.

NOTE: The craft has received a slight update. The tailfins have been replaced by smaller ones with no moving control surfaces. It turns out the handling is slightly improved, it looks a little better, and with the benign winds around the KSC there isn’t much use for yaw controls anyway.

A stock aircraft called DHV-X1. Built with 34 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.1.
