Description

The BAK Sea Legend is a nuclear-powered twin-prop, twin-boom amphibious light passenger aircraft, carrying one pilot and two passengers. She has a full set of landing gear for dry-land operations, but it also capable of landing on and taking off from water, even in choppy seas. She is tuned for good handling in slow flight, which knocks a bit off her top speed, but if amphibious operations are a part of the mission, it is well worth it.

Works well on Kerbin and Laythe and ridiculously well on Eve.

To take off from water, set prop pitch to 1, rev up the engines, and pull the stick back; when in the air, set prop pitch to 2 to accelerate. Control attitude with the trim control (F/B).

Note that full throttle exceeds the generator capacity of the RTGs she carries, so be sure to reduce throttle to ¾ or less after sprinting or risk an engine stall.

Actions:
1 - Take-off/landing pitch
2 - Acceleration pitch
3 - Cruise pitch
0 - Reverse thrust
F/B - Attitude
U/D - Prop pitch
