Description

Updated: The BAK-M430B has much improved fans and an airfoil. She does not work well on Kerbin anymore however!

The BAK-M430 Skua is a Minnow-class electric plane designed to perform scientific missions on Duna. She carries a crew of five and a full set of science experiments.

Cruise speed is about 150 m/s, and she has very good hover control; the fan ducts also shield the fragile fans in case of hard landings.

She has reached over 8 km altitude on Duna.

Warning: DO NOT attempt to operate on Kerbin. Her fans are terrifyingly overpowered in the thick atmosphere making her something of a terrifying beast.

Actions:

F/B - Blade pitch
U/D - Fan position (up/forward)
L/R - Adjust trim (canard deployment angle)
