Description
A challenger appears! With our recreational speed-obsessed pilots flocking to the TH-136J Crevette[1], it was clear that a response was needed. We took the BAK-121 Rabbit, streamlined it, added a single jet for forward thrust, and optimised the rotor and aerodynamics for high-speed stability at the cost of some handling at hover speeds – in particular pilots need to be careful with landings as being overly precipitate with decreasing collective can put the craft into a steep dive.
The result of the development is the BAK-122 Hare. A skilled pilot can take it well past 140 m/s in straight and level flight at sea level!
