Powered Gliding with Magic Floaty Physics
I built a bigger brick this time. Doesn’t have guns though.
This can fly over from KSC to the Island Airfield on one Juno, landing with a mass of 51t.
Disclaimer: computer-controlled flight required. There is almost no way this can be flown manually, even as stable as it is. Adjusting by trim settings is not precise enough for the narrow margin this operates in.
It also doesn’t require Kerbal Joint Reinforcement to fend off the Kraken! It’ll jiggle around on spawning, but it has strategically placed load-bearing struts that keep the craft together.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.1.
