The Last Gunfighter
Broadhead Lightweight Fighter - MkIc¨¨= TWIN CROWN AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES =
If I waited any longer, I might be accused of being derivative. It’s not, we just happen to come to similar conclusions around the same time.
Broadhead developed from a requisition for a kerbaled lightweight fighter. It calls upon concepts learned from the various drone programs. In a way, Broadhead can be considered as built from the ASPEN platform, as it shares many similar structural arrangements. It might, however, be appropriate to call it a Super-ASPEN, due to improvements in most aspects except maneuverability, where it is equal at best. (Also cool-factor aesthetics, subjectively.)
Broadhead takes its name from the arrow tip used in warfare, which it is similar in appearance to. It is expected to be a fairly adaptable aircraft, at the cost of its minimized, stealth form factor.
MkI was developed on the pure gunfighter doctrine, which has proven itself in private testing to somehow still be viable against aircraft with diversified weapons systems. As configured, the aircraft has an extremely small radar cross section.
Built for… well, some BDA dogfighting competition. It’s not really entered in anything. This will be my last competition-spec BDA aircraft built for KSP 1.3.1 + BDA 1.0.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.1.
