Description
A Heavily
Modded Aircraft called the B-29 Superfortress. It’s directly based off of the actual B-29, and has been built with 52 of the finest and most cursed parts I had at my disposal in Sandbox mode. And unlike what the Mod Panel to the Right says, this thing barely works without FAR if I remember correctly in my testing.
(Fun Side Note to me and everyone reading, the B-36 I uploaded was a Heavily Modified .craft of the original craft, which used an ancient .craft program in order to strip out all of the unnecessary crap that I wasn’t willing to wait 15 minutes to strip out of the craft. I didn’t do this process to my B-29, so that’s why FAR is mentioned in the Mods Section.)
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.2.
Unlike my B-36, which is more of a Non-Functional Replica than actually Functional, due to its overall clunkiness and weight causing it to fail at its real life goal (reach tall height, no interceptor reach tall height! america smart, yes yes,)
The K-29 actually can fly for a long time! Which makes the B-29 a pretty viable way of doing what I call, Long Haul Science Contracts.
LHSC’s are Contracts which demand you to do a circumnavigation of Kerbin (It’s easy in stock scale… 2.5 scale already is hard enough due to fuel constraints.)
With some extreme measures, which are mainly just Drop Tanks, I’m sure I could do a Long Haul with this thing!
