Description
A simple lifter, capable of bringing 70-80tons of payload to LKO. The 4x Twin Boar side-boosters handle the launch, while the Rhino core stage ramps up as altitude increases. By the time the side-boosters separate, the core stage has a 0.8-1.0+ TWR, depending on the payload.
Launch profile is as following:
Start gravity turn at 80-90m/s & 1000m altitude, aiming for a pitch of 35-45 degrees pitch@15000m. When the navball switches to orbit mode, bring pitch to the prograde marker, lock it and keep it locked to minimize atmospheric drag losses.
Once in orbit, the core stage will still have a substancial amount of fuel, which you can then TRANSFER to the payload, leaving some to the core stage for it’s de-orbit burn.
