Description
A craft I used extensively, once I had deployed surface/orbital infrastructure at Kerbin, Mun & Minmus. With 4200DV and refueling, it takes 20 Kerbals on a Kerbin grand tour: Mun, Minmus, Solar Orbit, then back to Kerbin.
This way, I was giving my newbie crews their 3 stars, while filling up the remaining seats with tourists, eager to throw their Kerbucks my way :)
Having in mind to use it for Tylo Landings as well, I gave it 8x Aerospikes, with 4 of them being assigned on a group, since one won’t need that much thrust when landing on say, Minmus.
Anyway, due to it’s obvious length, picking a relatively flat area to land it is preferrable.
A stock rocket called Lander Mk2. Built with 115 of the finest parts, its root part is mk3Cockpit.Shuttle.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.4.5.
