In the midst of the Kold War, the powers of Kerbin made a treaty. This treaty forbade anyone form putting weapons of mass destruction in orbit. Ever sense that treaty, the kountries of Kerbin have been trying to find ways around this. A solution to this problem was found by the KAD, in the form of kinetic bombardment.

Kinetic bombardment is basically the concept of a non explosive piece of metal basically acting like a meteorite and causing huge amounts of damage due to impact speed. How do you get these types of speeds, just put them in orbit obviously!
