The Challenger II is the modern British MBT or Main Battle Tank. The tank was designed and built by Vickers Defense Systems and carries the 120mm rifled L30A1 gun. The L30 fires APFSDS (Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot) and HESH (High Explosive Squash Head) The tank has quite good armor except for its infamous lower front plate which is is major weak spot. The tank is equipped with advanced optics and is used by the British army and Oman. The tank has been used majorly in the Middle East where it has been excellent in its role as an infantry support vehicle.

To launch the Challenger II, first decouple the turret from the hull, then detach the launch clamps on the turret, then the hull.
