Description
A shuttle
Well, this is a space shuttle. Technically, it is. A beautiful shuttle, though with expendable side boosters (to maximize payload capacity). From what you see in the picture is my 6th mission. The second attempt to launch 20 CubeSats into orbit.
This shuttle was meant to use the efficient, cheap (only 4k in funds), long burn times, reliable (cuz it is liquid fueled), reusable Explorer Booster 1. However, it is too low in thrust (Only 400kn of thrust in vacuum) and too short. The Explorer Booster 2 is under construction and it is powerful, efficient, long burn times, reliable (Cuz it is also liquid fueled), reusable, orange, tall. However it is too powerful to be used and the external fuel tank would needed to be extended. If that happens, the shuttle has to be extended. If that happens, the main engines need more thrust. If all that happens, it will become the upcoming space shuttle Saturn. So instead it used the cheap (but dangerous) Pollux booster
A mod rocket called Explorer 1B. Built with 204 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark1Cockpit.
