This is a case of I accidentally made an SSTO at 3AM
so the product might have some yet unknown flaws.
It’s a single-stage spaceplane guaranteed to reach Duna and be able to return back to Kerbin after some refueling on the surface. Might be able to land somewhere else, too. I really don’t know or bother testing that yet.
Notice:
- Has mining capability so you can fill the tanks (around 3740 LF) anywhere.
- Flies nice and safe until when around 500 LF left in the tanks. At that point you want to pump all of it into the front tanks to correct weight distribution.
- Can perform a deadstick landing on Duna (by gliding).
- Should have around 7 minutes (1200-1300 LF) of burn time left after reaching LKO.
