Low Kerbin Orbiter (LoKO)
Low Kerbin Orbiter Space Plane
The programs first and only spaceplane, built for ferrying 6 Kerbals to and from the KSS. The four RAPIER engines are just enough to bring the craft to a circular orbit with enough left fuel left over to rendezvous and then deorbit. It carries 2 Experiment Storage Units and ports for both types of Science Football or other small devices in its cargo bay for multiple sample returns on the same flight. The type 2 docking adapter is fitted with 2 area lights for obscured docking targets. The retractable solar panels are set away from the wingspan to prevent occlusion.
I’m not great at making aircraft, so the fuel margin is very thin on this craft. Can get to 150,000Km and back to KSC.
Built with 74 of the finest parts, its root part is mk2Cockpit.Standard.
