Description

The KA-4E Electric Shrike is an Electronic Warfare variant of the KA-4C optimized for Suppression of Enemy Air Defences (SEAD) missions. Changes to the airframe include electronic receiving equipment fitted to the wingtips, a dorsal spine for housing avionics, sensors and electronic warfare systems, removal of the 30mm cannon for an additional ECM pod mount, and a belly mounted wide-band receiver pod (doesn’t actually do anything). Main armament can include:

AA Missiles:
- AIM-9 Sidewinders (mounted on side fuselage rails)

AG Missiles:
- AGM-65 Maverick / AGM-88 HARM

Standoff Weapons:
- AGM-154 JSOW / AGM-84K SLARM-ER

Pods:
- AN/ALQ-131 ECM / AN/AAQ-28 LITENING Targeting Pod / AN/AWW-12 Data-Link Pod / ADM-160 Decoy / AN/APX-95 TACTS Training Pod / Countermeasure Pod / External Fuel Tanks

This version comes with two procedural drop tanks; you can add them to your sub-assemblies if you want. Built in KSP version 1.2.2.
