Description
The Enertech KH-72G Fire Taipan is an armed variant of the KH-72C Taipan light transport helicopter. It is adapted for use as an armed reconnaissance and anti-tank helicopter. The KH-72G is equipped with two wing pylons for mounting rocket pods and guided missiles, as well as a 30mm turret equipped under the cockpit. A FLIR camera mounted on top of the rotor allows the Fire Taipan to hide behind terrain and trees while performing battlefield reconnaissance. A new rotor and engine allows for increased power, particularly at higher altitudes.
