Description

WARNING: Does not make a great transition to 1.3. Built in 1.2.2. Still sort of works in 1.3 but will most likely blow up many times before launching properly. This seems to be an issue with designs that make heavy use of part clipping.

Cargo plane design inspired by planes such as the C5 and C17. There is no cargo bay and the plane is not incredibly maneuverable but is about what you’d expect for a heavy cargo plane. Top speed is about 240 m/s though which is on par with the C17. Again, main focus on aesthetics rather than functionality. Especially happy with the wings/flaps and landing gear aside from the overall silhouette of the plane.

**Because of the way landing gear and airbrakes/elevons work and how I had to make the landing gear doors, the gear bay doors are set to Action Group 1. While it doesn’t affect the performance, getting them to work properly just means hitting both the Action Group 1 key and Gear key. To retract the gear hit the Gear key first then A1 a few seconds after; to deploy you can just hit them both at once.

**Flaps also work similarly to the stock Stearwing. A5 for partial flaps for takeoff, A6 for full flaps for landing, and A4 to reset the flaps.
