Description

An orbital centrifuge to separate thrill-seeking tourists from their money.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.8.1.

Are you also harassed by thrill seekers? That want to get into orbit, not as explorers, but only to experience high accelerations? Are you also annoyed by having to spend as much fuel on a short burst of high acceleration as it cost you to get to orbit in the first place? Only to then have to expend even more fuel to get that craft back to Kerbin?
Then AHTech Industries is proud to present to you the solution to this particular problem, the:

GeeMaster 2000

The finest craft to separate annoying thrill seekers from their unjustly earned money. And twice as good as the GeeMaster 1000!

The GeeMaster 2000 combines our space station technology with our unique centrifuge technology. The GeeMaster 2000 has two one-person passenger cabins. For launch, acceleration, and storage they are coupled to the main body, making them in integral part of the craft. But for centrifuge action these cabins can be temporarily decoupled, allowing the occupants to experience the full force of the centrifugal acceleration.

Once in orbit the GeeMaster 2000 can be used again and again. Just shuttle new groups of tourists to it and cycle them trough the passenger cabins to squish them into submission without the hassle of thrust based acceleration. (Passenger shuttle not included.) In addition, the ample tank capacity allows you to use the GeeMaster 2000 as a LKO refueling station.

Usage Notes

Before the first use of the centrifuge the passenger cabins need to be decoupled at least once, to break the transport seal.
While the passenger cabins are decoupled it is possible for them to drift away from the main body. So care needs to be taken to couple the passenger cabins to the main body before the attention of the owner wanders too far or too fast away from the GeeMaster 2000.
The factory default setting for the centrifuge speed delivers enough acceleration to cause tourists to pass out, even if some well trained professional Kerbonauts are able to stand this acceleration. Increasing the acceleration increases the risk of spontaneous tunneling of the passenger cabins out of their mountings, leaving them drifting in space.

Axis Action Groups:

These action groups are not needed for regular operation, but are provided for your convenience.
Custom Axis 0: Change piston extension
Custom Axis 1: Change rotor RPM
