Action Group for decoupling the Fuel Pod

Action Group for the Lights

ADDITIONAL NOTES

WHEN TAKING-OFF:

push the throttle to full, then activate the RATO for assist because the Fuel Pod is heavy.

MIDFLIGHT:

as soon as the Fuel Pod is empty, open the cargo bay doors by pressing the action group 3, and release it with action group 6.

WHEN LANDING:

maintain speed of 170-200m/s, use the airbrakes by pressing the action group 2, when landing gears have ground contact activate the brake chutes by pressing the abort action group.

CRUISING CONDITIONS

High-Altitude Cruise:

Full throttle from taking-off until you reached the altitude of 17000m ASL, fuel pod has enough fuel for aircraft until reaching the highest altitude. Maintain an average speed of 1250m/s (can be higher or lower just don’t let the small circular intake at the nose to overheat at the altitude between 19000m and 18000m ASL.

Low-Mid Altitude Cruise:

Keep throttle at 1/3rd power, maintain an average speed of 320m/s between 3000m and 5000m ASL as long as your aircraft is within a thick atmosphere.

AUTHOR’S NOTES

K-21 EX Phoenix is a reimagination of the iconic supersonic aircraft in real life the SR-71 Blackbird in kerbal space program, I renamed it as Phoenix because it burns bright when flying at cruising speeds at high-altitude.

It has cargo capability, a fuel pod at the moment but you can customize it anyway you want. It can carry a 4.245 t of mass in its cargo, the same mass of the fuel pod.
I included a RATO (Rocket Assist Take-Off) or boosters for support when cargo is included.

Don’t mind the ailerons within the structure at the tail section of the craft, just turn off its controls, I added it there to adjust the center of lift of the craft.

It also has AI support so it can fly without any crew, don’t worry nothing bad will happen like in the movie stealth.

Was planning a version with refueling capability in case of emergency landing, but I don’t own any dlcs yet so yea …
