Description
A mod aircraft called KAE LF-11 MU ‘Hummingbird’. A field-ready focused lightweight multi-role fighter that aims to be all things to all pilots.
It has a durable design with strength-weight multipliers and armour on every critical component, a self-sealing inert fuel tank, redundant aileron and rudder controls, and rugged landing gear.
A high TWR combined with a large compound cropped delta wing with AoA reactive flaps and slats means there is no speed or turning regime (1 or 2 circle) where it cannot perform. The high wing offers passive roll stability, this combined with a high stall angle of 48-80 degrees offers forgiving flight characteristics, without compromising agility.
The thrust and sleek design also allows the KAE LF-11 to be a rocket in a straight line, able to achieve over mach 1.2, without afterburner, at sea-level. With top speeds of Mach 2 at sea-level, and Mach 3.2 at 10000m.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.3.
