Description
The AM-16 Fighting Falcon
is the KSP replica of the american multirole aircraft General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon
. It’s a light and fast aircraft, capable of carrying a great quantity of most types of weaponry into battle, including bombs, rockets, missiles, guidance and jamming systems. By that, the AM-16 is a powerful asset to have in all combat situations, between ground assault to air superiority, via airspace defense or air-to-ground bombing.
The aircraft itself is powered by a brand new P-433 Wheeper
afterburning gimballed turbojet, delivering a stationary thrust of 205kN (250kN in AB mode), allowing the F-16 to accelerate very fast at low altitude and to reach Mach 1.6
while having a great cruinsing range and a low consumption. The delta avionics make the F-16 a very stable plane while doing runs on ground targets or during take-off/landing operations, allowing the Falcon to take-off at 45m/s while on maximum combat payload, and despite being powerful in ground ordnance, the F-16 can still pull up some impressive manoeuvers at great speed, making it an excellent dogfighter.
Another advantage is the Falcon’s small size, which makes
it harder to hit than other planes, but also more agile and easier to fly than a F-15 Eagle for exemple, adding training jet to his many different roles.
Both an excellent jet fighter and attack craft, easy to fly and maintain, and all of this for only $30.874, choose reliability and versatility now with A.M. Aeroanautics!
