Description
Is it a base? Is it a ship? Is it a lander? You decide. What it will do is take up to 24 Kerbals to the Mun, (only 9 can fit in the transfer/return stage), with some science experiments, a lab, some power, some monoprop, and a bit of fuel and oxidizer to a location of your choice on the Mun or Minmus… maybe even further. It features 4 docking ports on the sides of the craft for adding on pieces for future contracts. It also features a 4 man escape pod to rendezvous back in orbit to bring back tourists or return data! All stock and all kerbal! Pro-tip: make sure to leave at least 600 units of fuel in the transfer stage after you circularize the Mun for the return to Kerbin! Enjoy!
A stock rocket called Mun Base 5. Built with 404 of the finest parts, its root part is dockingPort2.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.1.2.
