Description
The Alaotra Spaceplane and the Tsingy Station builder will take you to 80-120 km orbit to build the station of galactic proportions.
NOTE: Cargo weight limits have not been fully tested. We do know however that this model will not carry 2 orange tanks full of fuel. Dont ask how we know this. Please comment with the heaviest payload you were able to achieve!
Take-off instructions: Lock foward Mk3 Liquid Fuel tank until side Mk2 tanks are expended during climb (this will save time transferring fuel to front for re-entry). Stage to engage engines, and toggle radiator panels behind cockpit. Rotate at 140m/s. Maintain 10 degree climb until 1,000m/s speed. Rotate to 30-35 degree climb. Maintain climb until 25,000 meter altitude. Press 1 key to switch to Closed Cycle and close all intakes. (keep an eye on Liquid Fuel in side tanks and be sure to unlock forward Mk3 tank to complete climb.) Burn until desired Apo based on cargo weight.
Landing instructions: Transfer all portside Mk2 Oxidizer to forwardmost portside Mk2 tanks. Transfer all starboardside Mk2 Oxidizer to forwardmost starboardside Mk2 tanks. Deorbit at -20 to -30 m/s at 20 degree pitch up. At 25-30,000 meter altitude begin S-Turns or Pitch down to initiate glidescope. Maintain 100 m/s speed during glidescope at -4 degree pitch. Pitch up to no more than 10 degrees when above runway threshold. Touchdown at no less then 80 m/s.
