Description
A stock aircraft called TinyBoat02c. Built with 44 of the finest parts, its root part is miniFuselage. Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.5.
Tiny Juno-based speedboat designed for Juno water speed record.
Usage: 1) Make sure there’s someone in the pod of the undercarriage. 2) EVA and rightclick command seat to board. 3) Stage engine and throttle up a bit to roll to waterfront (speeds up to ~20m/s down the hills are safe). 4) Once in the water, stage to decouple and sink undercarriage. 5) Throttle up and play.
Speed attempts do not require control inputs, just full throttle. Fully fueled it can go up to 50m/s, up to 90m/s when running on fumes. At top speeds, almost any control input at all will either slow the craft down, or make it lift off and fly.
Oh right: it can fly pretty good -for a boat- too, 195m/s at sea level attainable.
